Short but sweet

This is the first of Kurt Vonnegut's books I have read and I instantly fell in love. I won't write much, because it is difficult to find words that do his written work justice.

He does not write like a stuffy academic even though his thoughts perhaps surpass theirs intellectually.

He doesn't need to dress up his ideas with complicated jargon, because he can write in the most simple and accessible way and his work is still bewilderingly brilliant.

Insightful, intelligent and at all times with a sense of humour.

Now there is someone worth reading.
